Motel 6 Moriarty, NM

I stay at motel 6 when ever I can. The main difference is I can make reservations easy and cancel them if I have to. I tend to wonder around. Sometimes an out of the way M6 is a great deal because owners are glad to have travelers show up. Moriarty looks like nowhere but there's a truck stop on the edge of town that serves an New Mexico omelet with green peppers. Not far away is flea market and I made some great buys. Walmarts can be too stressful but a family dollar is quicker.

Debora welcomed us with her big smile and kindness! The location was great for us because it was away from city. The room was old but very clean and air conditioned. I would love to back to this motel for sure! Thank you Debora :)))

The front desk old lady was prompt and very friendly. We checked in so late but she was still all smiles and very pleasant and helpful. We like that there was an extra pillow in each bed (instead of two per bed, there were three). We like that it's not the damp, smelly carpet, but a clean wood laminate for flooring. However, and this is not a complain, the laminate might not work for the bathroom. Some of us would have the sense to not step on it with wet feet, but other customers might not be so mindful. Our bathroom was showing signs of peeling on the corner of the laminate pieces, but floor was still good and clean. The towels were clean, but two towels looked a bit thread-bare. Will still serve its purpose, but would appreciate the fluffy kind. Overall, the stay was pleasant and restful. It is good for its price.

Motel close to just about everything you need, Mexican/American restaurant right next door (great food good price) Motel 6 allows pets, spacious rooms, clean, truck plaza across the street (TA) grocery store within walking distance and big truck parking room for 6 or 7 trucks

The room was nice and clean. It was quiet the bed was on the hard side way to hard after driving 11hrs I wanted a soft comfortable mattress. Not this bed! The staff was very friendly. I was on room 117 when you flash the toilet put the lid down or it's going to splash you. You get what you pay for.

For me a 5 star rating does not only apply to what is available but also to how I've been treated. The people here are so nice. From the manager Nancy, to both front desk girls Bailey and Liz who I have met. The housekeepers Marisela and Patricia as well. Everyone is so sweet and always willing to help and supply you with whatever you need. The rooms are quite large and spacious enough to fit all that you have, and I have a large family. The water pressure is great and there is enough hot water to go around, from bathing my two children to my husband and I showering after. The parking lot is large and there is a nice little space where dogs can run around. The amenities are in walking distance and for the price you pay a night there is really no room to complain. I am very happy with my stay here.

The Motel 6 billboards along I-40 state "Truck Parking." There is none, at least no dedicated truck parking at the hotel proper. When I asked the front desk, the response was, "I don't know anything about that." The room (104, two queen beds) was basic (nothing more than beds and a TV) and clean. It's an OK value.

Right off the freeway pretty easy to get to easy to spot. It's cheap the room is pretty spacious and simple, doesn't have a fridge doesn't have a microwave but it's perfect for bare bones travel. Room was a Lil dirty and smelled like bleach but the front desk lady was polite and easy to work with and I appreciated not feeling like I was being rushed out first thing in the morning which made the stay more valuable to me.
